This cork does not allow your wine to oxidize even if the bottle is not laying on its side during aging If you are using a hand corker you must heat the corks in some hot (about 150 degrees) water for about 5 minutes for them to easily insert into the bottles. If you are using a floor corker then heating the corks is not necessary.
