Make your own apple cider with this easy-to-use manual crusher! Put the apples (or pears) into the 17"x14" hopper and crank away. The knife blades cut the apples and the aluminum rollers grab the apples and pull them in and smash them up yielding a pulp that can then be pressed.

Traditional ratchet style presses are made with a pressed steel basin with an enamel coating. The basket staves are made of a hardwood and fastened with chrome plated bolts. Baskets are in 2 pieces for easy disassembly and removal of pomace. Also included are 6 hardwood blocks and two hardwood half-rounds to more efficiently and effectively press grapes and extend the reach of the ratchet. These presses come with a removable shaft which has a large nut on the bottom of the basin.
A great value in our motorized Crusher Destemmer line as the parts that are in direct contact with the grapes are stainless while the main body and motor/gear shroud are made from enamel coated steel.

When making red wine you need to remove the stems from the grapes before fermenting. This crusher destemmer easily accomplishes this feat, with very little effort on your part. The trestle stand/chute is sold separtely, but makes using the stemmer/crusher much easier.
